Parkview Personal Technology Policy
We have asked students to leave cell phones and smartwatches at home. If they are brought to school, cell phones and smartwatches will be turned off and kept in back packs during the school day. If you need to contact your student, please call the school office and we will get a message to them for you.
Devices may be turned on again when the students leave the building at the end of the school day. Students have been advised of this policy, and we will appreciate your follow through at home. Please be aware that Parkview is not responsible for any lost or stolen items. We have discouraged students from bringing cellphones and smartwatches to school and we will take them away from students if they are not following the policy.
If your student calls or texts you during the school day, they are doing this without permission and against our policy. We would ask that you please call the office and ask for assistance from our staff rather than coming to school to pick up your student. This allows us to work together to support what the student needs.
Thank you for your support.
